Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend was a lot of fun! We stayed in town and didn't have many plans, but we stayed busy and had fun!

Friday night we went out to dinner and had a very nice night. I even got him to talk about having babies. haha. Saturday I went to lunch with my cousins, Tana and Megan. It was great to catch up and hang out with them. Jer and I ran a bunch of errands and we got pretty damn bored so we went and got some movies. We watched Hitman (dumb) and 27 Dresses (very cute). Sunday we worked in the yard then went to Jer's mom's house for dinner and a game night. It was seriously the most fun I have had in a long time! We played Pictionary and Gestures. Here are some pictures of us playing Gestures. See if you can guess what the person is acting out.

This was his "mad" face - this was hilarious because Allen couldn't guess it and he was really getting mad!

This is Jer's mom doing "mistletoe."

"Mascara" Duh...so obvious. haha

Megan doing "body builder."

Allen doing "shadow." Is it just me or are the girls much better at this game? HAHA I guess that is why we kicked butt!

Monday we had plans to go to Gentry's grave, but that didn't happen with all the rain, so we went to dinner with my grandma, grandpa, Kelly, Payton and Dahlia. It was fun. Then Jer and I went and saw What Happens In Vegas. It was really cute and very funny. I liked it a lot. Then we came home and rode our 4-wheelers around the neighborhood for a while and I went up and peeked in the windows at my new school. I'm kind of disapointed because the classrooms are way smaller than my class is now and I dont think there is a nice storage area like I have now. But it is a very nice school. I hope it's done in time for school to start in July!

Well that is my weekend! It was a blast!

One of my very best friends, Ashlie, got a new neice today. Ember had a baby girl - Congrats Ember!! Can't wait to see baby McKinlee.

Yard Work!!

So we got a little yard work done this weekend. We got the cement on the side of our house poured finally and it looks so much better! Jer is really not that romantic or even thoughtful sometimes but he put our initials in it and it looks cute - what a sweetheart! : ) Love ya babe! Thanks to Jer's mom, Mary, we got flowers planted in our flower bed - I knew nothing about flowers, so I learned a lot. haha. It is so cute, but I can't wait until they all get bigger and take up more of the flower bed. We also put a lot of grass in the back yard. Jer had to go get three truck loads of dirt to just do how much we did because the ground was so much lower. It is has been a long long long day and I am fried - literally!! I put sun screan on but only once and I look like a lobster with some funny marks. My hands are white because I was wearing gloves and I have a nice tank top line. I'm so mad I got burnt. I didn't even thing about it!! Arg. After about 11 hours in the yard, I am ready to go to bed!

My cute hubby - he worked SO hard today!
Our new grass - most of this section used to be dirt. We have two more sections this size to do something with now. Our side flower bed - I love that bush in the middle. It is sooo pretty. We planted the one on the right. It is suppose to be the same kind as the middle, but pink flowers. You can't really see the flowers in the bed, but we put some there. The cute plant. Our newly cemented side. It looks so much better! Our front flower bed. It is much prettier in person and will be even better in a few weeks when they grow some.

These are my sympathy pictures - hurts and my skin is sooo hot to touch. It would have helped if I wasn't so ghostly white to start with!

Stephenie Meyer

So I just got home from meeting Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight Series and The Host (her newest book). I went with my friend Heidi and we went early because they were doing a signing before and after. We were in group 23 and I thought there wouldn't be that many people there and we could get it signed then leave after she gave her talk. YEAH RIGHT! We showed up at 11, she started signing at 11:30 and stoped at 12:30, and she was only to group 10. We weren't even close! So we went early for nothing. She talked for about 20 minutes then we waited another two hours to get our books signed. It was ridiculous, but it was fun to see her and get my book signed - I'm a little dorky about the whole thing and that is ok. haha. She just answered questions, but she is very entertaining and she told a few funny stories. I was a little disappointed because I thought she was going to read from The Host, but she didn't. It was still great though! Here are some fun pics!

IDOL!!!

So American Idol just got over for tonight and the two finalists are David Archuleta and David Cook!! Yay - I knew it would be the battle of the Davids! Although they are both awesome, I am really routing for David Archuleta!! He has such an amazing voice and I love the humbleness he has to him! I was seriously clapping and screaming when Ryan announced his name as a finalist and I am sitting home alone. What a dork! O-well.

Good luck to both Davids!!

Anyone want to do an Idol finale party? Snort - I know you will do it with me!! We should get a bunch of people together and watch next Wednesday together!! Please let me know if you would want to join - otherwise, Snort, it might just be you and me. haha but that is ok too!

Happy Mother's Day!!

Hello to all the mother's out there! I want to wish all my friends and family a Happy Mother's Day! I appreciate all of you and know you all work so hard being great moms! Maybe one day I will be able to be a mom too - haha : ) I hope you all had great days and were treated like royalty!

I went to lunch at my Aunt Linda's on Saturday then we went and got family pictures done for my mom and went and got some dinner and ate with her. Then on Sunday we took Jeramie's mom to Chilies then bowling. It was a lot of fun. My average at bowling was an amazing 73. I hate bowling, but it was fun. I got two strikes and about 17 gutter balls in the two games we played - I'd like to see someone beat that! haha

Everything else is going great. I am so busy at work and need to start packing all of my things up. We have about 10 projects in our yard started, but not completed. So it has been busy, but things have been good. Hope everyone is well!

Misc

So feels like forever since I have put a post on here, but its only been about a week. haha. A few things...

1. Welcome Linda to the blogging world!! Love you and can't wait to start seeing regular blog entries : )

2. I had my next doc appointment, with the cardiologist. Once again all the tests came back fine but he wanted to put me on a two week heart monitor, but since I really dont think anything is wrong and he didn't either I decided against it for now. now my next doc apt is with a psychiatrist. Maybe that will help. haha.

3. This weekend we went to the sand dunes. I didn't take any pictures because my camera was dead...so sad. But we had a great time. We went with Chris & Jenny and Adam & Erin and their mom and step dad. It was a lot of fun and best of all...me and Jer didn't fight the entire time!! Not even one argument - that is seriously like a world record, haha, which made the trip very enjoyable. Unfortunately the battery in my bike died before we were there so we bought a charger but my bike wouldn't take a charge, so I couldn't ride it at all. So, I rode a lot with Jer and hung out at camp. It was very relaxing and nice!!
