MeRrY ChRiStMaS

Christmas has always been one of my favorite times of the year. I love getting and giving gifts and I love seeing all my family and everyone is always so happy and joyful. This Christmas just wasn't the same. Both of our dads were out plowing and I didn't see my mom or that part of my family because we did our Christmas early and I missed my grandma and my grandpa saw a picture of my grandma and fell apart. Then he just wanted to go back the the nursing home and be alone. That ruined my whole day seeing him like that. So, needless to say, this Christmas wasn't that great.

We woke up to some snow and opened our gifts at home.

Then we went to Jer's moms for breakfast and gifts. We got snowed in there with the crazy wind and all the snow, but Jer dug us out and the weather wasn't nearly as bad as we headed out east.

Then we went to my aunt Lindas and I just didn't enjoy myself like I usually do without my grandma and grandpa there. It was really hard.

My dad NEVER wraps gifts, bu the started this year. Looks like he needs some practice! haha

Here is a funny video playing the little piano they got Dal for Christmas. She is actually pretty good! Who knew she could play!

Then we went to Jer's grandmas house, then to my dad's to see him since we didnt see him earlier. Then we went home and got Jer's truck then went out to his cousins house. It was such a long day and I was getting really ornery by the end. Hopefully next Christmas will be better when we have the baby.

Mom's Christmas

I never posted about mymom's christmas. We celebrated Christmas with her last Sunday. We went over there and exchanged gifts with her and Savannah and Nathan. It was fun.

Baby Videos

So, I got a couple more baby videos. They aren't great, but I can never catch him when he is really wild. The first one just has a cute part right at the beginning. You can see his foot or arm go across my belly. The rest of the video is nothing, I just can't edit them on this computer.



This video has lots of "action." But it isn't really strong. It is the best I have got so far though.

Grandpa's Tree

My family decided to move my grandpa into a home about a month ago. A bunch of us went over there to put up a little tree in his room to make it more festive for him. Here are a few pictures. All the pictures of the tree were really blurry, but it was cute. Linda did such a good job on the lights - lol - Lets just say she tried. Kelly had to go fix them for her. haha. It was just a small tree, but made the room much more festive.

Love My Friends!

I went out with my friends Becky and Courtney tonight. We went to Olive Garden - gotta love their soup salad and breadsticks! It is so much fun to hang out and catch up with them. It is so hard to get all 3 of our schedules free so we can hang. Here are some pictures we took. We are so cute : ) Becky is about 3 weeks further along then I am, so we took a belly picture. Cute girls...haha. Love you both!!

Finished Nursery

Here are some pics of the completed nursery. The only thing we have left furniture wise is our rocking chair, which I ordered but they said up to 8 weeks for it to come in. It's a good thing I ordered it now, geez! It really looks better in person so everyone has to come see it!! I also want to put his name on the wall by the curtains, but we have to figure out a name first!!

I put hsi fabric samples in frames and hung them. I think it is so cute!!!

So last weekend we got some new family pictures taken with my mom, brother and sister. They are cute. Thought I'd share them. I love the shirt I was wearing. It says "baby makes the belly go round." haha.

X - Mas Tree
